Representative - Franchise Management Job Description Disney’s Boys and Preschool team is seeking a Representative -Franchise Management. The Franchise Management Representative will passionately advocate Boys, Animated and Preschool Franchise initiatives; identify Franchise opportunities & challenges while offering strategic solutions. Properties range from Disney Junior Series (Sofia the First, Doc McStuffins, Jake and the Never Land Pirates, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Minnie’s Bow Toons, Phineas and Ferb, Gravity Falls and others.) This position reports directly to the Director, Franchise Management. Responsibilities • Passionately advocate Boys, Animated and Preschool Franchise initiatives and develop leadership skills necessary for future growth. a. Proactively identify Franchise opportunities & challenges while offering strategic solutions b. Demonstrate ability to analyze research, ratings and other channel information that best position a property and platform in a sales or property presentation c. Give confident and effective speeches and sales presentations • Establish communication flow processes with key divisions of the company, ensuring timely updates on key boy franchises. Work to ensure domestic business units are up to date with knowledge of our franchise strategies, themes, and events. • Manage the product approval process ensuring all products submitted are in accordance with brand management guidelines • Manage department budget accurately and efficiently. Organize and maintain all incoming invoices for Disney Channel Franchise Management team. Provide timely updates to team executives and finance department to ensure we are maximizing the full extent of our allocations. Proactively manage product strategy and release dates to maximize success • Facilitate the implementation of a new process to manage cross-divisional sales updates across all DCWW franchises with real time updates and monthly archives. New process and documentation will provide visibility to DATG executives and ensure our team has the necessary financial information to make strategic decisions. • Nurture Franchise properties, new series and opportunistic properties to build a foundation for cross-company support by working with key internal business partners. This includes creating property launch decks, fact sheets, franchise plans, and sizzles. Basic Qualifications • Minimum of 2 years work experience at the coordinator level; combined with experience in entertainment, production, franchise, brand licensing or marketing related fields • Strong administrative skills and expertise setting up high level presentations and meetings • Outlook, Keynote, and Excel expertise is a must • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently following a project from beginning to the end • Ability to work for different people in the department and prioritize projects to efficiently meet deadlines • Professional demeanor and experience working in corporate or professional work environment • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, a fast pace work environment and the needs of the business • Able to self prioritize and meet fast-paced deadlines and work independently Preferred Qualifications • Experience as a coordinator or equivalent role at marketing, entertainment, licensing/product development, advertising, or related field • Experience with Photoshop and internet savvy Preferred Education • Higher education a plus Required Education • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience Job Posting Industries Franchise Management Television Additional Information The Walt Disney Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
