Under the general direction of the Billing Supervisor, the Billing Specialist researches and reviews accounts that have been denied in a timely fashion to meet regulatory guidelines and expedite payment. The Billing Specialist may be required to verify insurance. He/She may be responsible for filing and preparing reports. This also includes fulfilling assigned duties and responsibilities for the timely and accurate submission of all claims (government and non-government).
