(USA-MS-Laurel) Material Handler - Lamination
This Position is for a Material Handler- Lamination with a manufacturing company location in Moselle, MS. Duties include: Operates in a support capacity for the Lamination Department which involves the material handling of raw materials, finished goods and supplies into and out of the areas; Inspects and checks forklift for safe and proper operation; Completes forklift inspection forms; Provides associates with in-process materials and supplies necessary to maintain production; Transports finished products to designated areas; Ensures products being removed from areas have the appropriate label, tag, color code dot and meets quality standards; Completes raw material usage reports and inventory tickets; Performs inventory count; Weighs and records scrap material; Transports waste to designated areas; Assists in maintaining department in accordance with good housekeeping practices; Observes all safety and environmental procedures; Performs other duties as requested by supervision.Education, Experience, and Skills Required: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Ability to read, write, and perform basic math; High degree of attention required to prevent injury to self and others; Ability to move or lift 50 pound wooden skid; Must satisfactorily pass in-company forklift driver training program.Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
