(USA-NH-Rochester) Bus Driver - Part Time
Operates a bus to transport special education students in a safe and timely manner and performs related work in accordance with school goals and objectives in a team environment.Experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position and a safe driving record, with preference to transporting and working with special needs children with significant disabilities.Free of restrictions which would limit the use of the body as it relates to the repetitive liftingof up to 50 pounds; the physical management of students consistent with CPI training; andperforming physical and manual tasks in loading and unloading wheelchair students and adaptive equipment. Must pass DOT approved physical examination prior to employment.Valid driver's license; clean driving and criminal record; obtain and maintain certification in First Aid, CPR, and CPI. Participate in professional development as determined by supervisor.Willingness to work additional hours or a split shift on occasion.Knowledge of NH laws, rules and regulations applicable to the operation of vehicles in the transportation of school children.
