PRN, approximately 16 hours per pay period Share in the provision of ethics consultation services as required, assessing cases, researching issues, documenting interactions and providing conflicts resolution, values clarification and policy interpretation. Provide ethics education at new employee orientation, to staff and community groups as needed. Chair or participate on the Biomedical Ethics Committee, Nursing Ethics Committee, IRB s and other affiliated or ad hoc committees as required or assigned. Research assess and respond to inquiries regarding ethical moral concerns in new research protocols or proposed technologies. Participate in affiliated programs to include, but not be limited to, the Sanford School of Medicine at the University of South Dakota Section for Ethics and Humanities. Required Experience Minimum of a Masters Degree in Medical Ethics or related field, with background experience in healthcare hospital ethics. As required by licensure and or regulation. (N A)
