(USA-UT-OGDEN) Family Support-Caregiver-Ogden
Employer is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities and their families. Part Time positions are available in Ogden. Many shifts are afternoons and weekends. Starting pay: $8.00. DUTIES include: * Participating in community and social activities * Provide personal care (depending on person) * Assist with medications as needed * Ensure that a clean and safe environment is maintained * Schedule and assist with completion of activities and skills development goals * Reliably report to work on time and as scheduled * Attend staff meetings and other mandatory training as required by RISE * Notify management of changes with individuals *Act as a role model in using appropriate language, dress, table manners, respect, and other behavior * Promote the rights of people receiving support and contribute to an environment that is free from abuse, neglect and-or exploitation. JOB REQUIREMENTS: *Preferred experience with skills in non-verbal and behavior management *Reliable vehicle required *Committed to working on a team, *Good communication skills, *A willingness to learn and develop new skills, *Valid I.D and able to pass a criminal background screening.
