(USA-UT-PARADISE) Culinary Associate
Avalon Hills Residential Eating Disorders Treatment Center is accepting applications for a part time or full time Culinary Associate to assist in preparing balanced meals for patients and staff while adhering to specific dietary guidelines and individualized meal plans.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.•Prepares three (3) meals per day in timely manner •Prepares two (2) snacks per day in timely manner•Adheres to recipes, patient meal plans, menus, and dietary guidelines•Ensures all food is stored and prepared in a safe manner•Performs daily and regularly-scheduled cleaning in the kitchen and dining room•Operates common kitchen equipment in safe and responsible manner•Performs food item inventories on quarterly basis•Attends departmental in-service training•Adheres to company and departmental policies, procedures, and safety rules•Communicates effectively with other staff to meet schedule requirements•Interacts professionally with patients and staff •Eats meals with patients and staffExperience•Position is entry level and incumbent will receive necessary training on the job. Previous cooking and food service experience preferred. Shifts•Typically swings, rotate weekends-holidays. Other Qualifications-Requirements•Must be 18 or older•Ability to multi-task•Food handler s permit required
