This individual will also provide creativity to the mechanical engineering design and development of new invasive and non-invasive medical device products. Company offers a comprehensive insurance package,room for advancement,a dynamic and innovative work environment,and the opportunity to become involved with a stable and successful organization.Duties: Essential Duties amp;amp; Responsibilities Researches,develops,designs (utilizing CAD software) and evaluates technical suitablility of mechanical test methods. Plans,schedules,conducts,or coordinates detailed testing for design verification and validation. Documents detailed CAD drawings and specifications throughout all phases of research and development. Must be able to clearly communicate designs and all requisite requirements both verbally and in writing. Utilizing test methods,assess the performance of medical device products and be able to make recommendations of needed changes to design or test method. Sets-up and manually operates routine and non-routine test equipment. Manually builds prototypes in accordance with engineering instructions,drawings and specifications. Interfaces with vendors and other outside specialists. Interfaces with various departments necessary for design,assembly and implementation of test methods. Directs support personnel and coordinates their project activities. Reviews or coordinates supplier activities to support development. Ensures appropriate communication processes are established within and across functional groups. Communicates information related to quality management system effectiveness. Works in accordance with quality system procedures.Qualifications: Qualifications 5+ years medical design experience in medical device-clinical environment. B.S. Engineering required
