(USA-VA-Newport News) Production Team Leader, 2nd Shift
Job Summary: Lead, monitor and assist production group in operations, coordinating all production activities and acting as a liaison between Production Supervisors and Employees. Ensure production goals are met and standards of quality are maintained.Job Duties:1. Set up paperwork for daily production schedule.2. Verify usage and case counts for raw material and verify correct product codes based on product specifications.3. Survey line set-up, to include equipment and saw-cuts, for proper alignment, positioning and correctness.4. Place production associates in job assignments to meet production demands of each production run.5. Verify that correct boxes, labels and date codes are being used, to match requirements listed on specification sheet.6. Maintain production records. Verify correct information with Statistical Process Control Analyst. Record batch information after each production run.7. Calculate required usage for each batch and determine yield.8. Setup and input date code requirements per product specification9. Work with Statistical Process Control Analyst to ensure that product meets or exceeds specification requirements.10. Ensure that the production line complies with Good Manufacturing Principles (GMP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control (HACCP) and other Icelandic USA, Inc. rules and policies.11. Provide input to supervisors for the performance evaluation of personnel on the production lines.12. Fill in on the production line when assistance is needed.13. Assists when equipment does not work correctly by making routine adjustments and notifying maintenance.14. Directs other production employees when the Production Supervisor is absent15.
