Full Time Youth Mental Health Support Specialist I Youth and Family Services - Grove Cottage Position #YS0084 Youth and Family Clinical Services is a seeking qualified mental health professional to provide community-based and home-based services, with children and adolescents, regarding issues of mental health, substance abuse, and developmental delays. This position may also serve parents of youth served, as the identified individual to be served or as part of family-focused interventions. The programs that this position will be working in may include MH Skill-building, Crisis Stabilization, Intensive In-Home, or Life Coaching. Position will be a part of a system of care approach, providing functional assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions, as part of the youthandrsquo;s treatment team. Applicants should have the ability to work independently but also as a team member with the youth, the families, other service providers, and their community. This position may serve the counties of Grayson and Carroll and the city of Galax. Position is full-time and evening work is routinely required, with occasional work on weekends, as clinically appropriate. Applicant must meet specified knowledge, skills, and abilities, which are based on a youth-oriented and family-focused approach. Effective written and oral communication skills required. Pay commensurate with skills and experience and is currently at a level 11.
