Intern Equity Residential is a place people want to work. It’s in our award-winning training program, our outstanding employee engagement survey results, our below-industry turnover rate, and in our shared mission to be uncompromising in delivering on our commitments to our customers, employees and shareholders. The key is our culture – and the employees who live it every day. Equity Residential (NYSE: EQR) is an S&P 500 company, 3,800 employees strong, that owns and operates more than 400+ high-quality apartment properties across 13 states and the District of Columbia. Founded in 1967 by our chairman Sam Zell, Equity went public in 1993 and became the first multifamily real estate company to be listed in the S&P 500. The real story of what makes us tick, though, runs beyond the size and reach of our real estate holdings. Buildings, after all, are nothing without people, and we understand that our employees, our residents and our shareholders are the real bricks and mortar of the company. Equity’s structured Property Management Internship program is designed to provide students with industry insight through real-life exposure to property management operations and corporate functions. We provide in-house training and job exposure. This is a paid internship. Minimum qualifications: Must be currently enrolled in a college degree program and currently be a Junior, Senior or a recent graduate and have a desire to work in the field of Property Management.
