(USA-CO-Broomfield) Charitable Contributions Intern - 12 Month Internship

This internship with Vail Resorts will allow in-depth exposure to the dynamic work of the Public Affairs and Sustainability (PAS) team through the Vail Resorts Echo program. The Charitable Contributions Intern will complete projects that support the overall Vail Resorts’ charitable contribution and employee volunteerism strategy, including helping administer frequent employee communications; helping manage the department’s social media efforts; and helping maintain the VR Echo Web site. The intern also manages the charitable contributions database and oversees fulfillment measures. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is adamant about details; possesses the ability to work with senior leadership as well as community partners; asks effective questions; manages ambiguity; and achieves results. The candidate must have strong project management, communication and database skills. The internship is 20-hours a week and is targeted for a period of 12 months. **Students looking to earn college credit for this internship are encouraged to apply.** **Requirements:** * Current student working toward a degree in communications, public relations, marketing or a related field * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Knowledge of effective social media strategies * Excellent organization and analysis skills * Ability to work independently and within the constraints of tight deadlines * Database management skills * Detail-oriented * Ability to multi-task * Must be able to commit to a 12 month internship * Proficiency using Microsoft Office software * CMT (Content Management Tool) or Website design experience * My Emma (email marketing software) experience * Graphic Design experience including the Adobe Suite * Event planning skills * Media relations experience **Preferred Skills:** * Knowledge of Vail Resorts and the snow sports industry *Have Fun.
