**Qualifications & Responsibilities** **General Statement of Duties: **Assists the Retail organization in better understanding consumer behavior and attributes and how to best influence customer loyalty through marketing campaigns. Arms our internal and external sales force with impactful, proactive knowledge to support plan goals, supports or refuting hypotheses on consumer profiles and behavior through data extracts and analysis, executes campaign list selections in an accurate and efficient manner, and completes ad hoc and ongoing reporting and campaign analysis to drive marketing recommendations. * Responsible for identifying and championing analytics-based business opportunities * Ensure that the leadership of marketing and their teams have the analytics and insights necessary to make informed business decisions that drive performance * Support or refute hypotheses regarding consumer behavior through data extracts * Complete Ad-hoc data requests to support internal partners and external clients * Develop and maintain studies, profiles, analyses, and reporting on consumer behavior * Ensure proper audience selection, test setup, segmentation, and tracking of marketing campaigns * Provide flawless execution of marketing file creation, including extensive audit procedures * Adapt to new tools, data, systems, and processes while maintaining steadfast discipline towards customer selections * Arm internal and external sales force with impactful knowledge of consumer profiles and behavioral trends * Drive the creation and usage of proforma tools and templates * Establish standard, and create custom, quantitative and qualitative campaign analysis templates, processes, and techniques to analyze marketing campaigns (including acquisition campaigns) * Fuel the organization’s understanding of “what works”, in terms of credit marketing, through the development, maintenance, and communication of aggregate campaign performance * Drive interactions with sales team, and other internal partners, to collaborate on data driven solutions * Develop and apply information-driven analytic and quantitative approaches to solving complex and ambiguous business problems in a timely manner and with tangible results **Qualifications** ### Knowledge of: ### * The credit card and retail industries; Concepts in Finance and CRM Marketing **Advanced Skills in:** * Analytical and quantitative approaches, logic and reasoning, Attention to detail and self-auditing * Microsoft Excel (highly proficient in core capabilities, as well as, pivot tables, macros, and analytical functions) * Microsoft Word and PowerPoint * SAS and SQL Coding; Campaign Management Tools (Unica, Neolane, etc) * Reporting tools such as Microstrategy, Essbase, or Business Objects * Additional software knowledge: Spectra, ESRI * Multi-channel experience preferred – familiar with both in-store/branch and online analytics **Strong Ability to:** * Meet established deadlines; Work on multiple projects simultaneously; Work autonomously or as part of a team * Effectively identify, approach, and resolve problems * Embrace and/or initiate change; adapt to new tools and processes * Communicate effectively in both written and verbal form, positively interact with all levels of management and various individuals across the company * Experience developing communications and presenting to leadership * Build relationships * Push * neself to contribute, improve, and excel * Demonstrate active curiosity—must enjoy gathering and digging deeply/beyond the surface into data to identify issues and solve problems * Tell/articulate the data story to deliver business results (cover the “so what” and make strong, actionable recommendations that translate into results) **Minimum Qualifications: **Education:**Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, Finance, or other quantitative field; or equivalent knowledge or experience.
