Job Location Charlotte, NC Job Description **Functional Responsibilities:** * Senior level subject matter expert, subject to minimal supervision, receives, researches, and responds to telephone questions and inquiries from sales representatives, other sales personnel, and external clients * Provides information on client’s account balances, account histories, account maintenance fees, Broker Dealer policies, procedures and commissions, and other information * Provides customers with information on available services, paperwork assistance, and technical inquiry assistance * Resolves complex customer questions and problems using established procedures. Accepts and resolves issues escalated by lower level personnel * Researches high profile and complex questions and problems * Stays abreast of changes in the industry and shares knowledge with the field and the department * May participate on departmental projects or special assignments * Performs other duties as required or assigned **Supervisory Responsibilities:**Provides guidance to lower level personnel and may perform call quality/customer service assessments for lower level personnel. Job Requirements **Experience Required:** * Advanced knowledge of broker dealer products and processes * 5+ years of financial services and relevant experience **Preferred Experience:** * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience * Competencies: communicates effectively, focuses on the customer, organizational skills, demonstrates technical and functional expertise, and detail oriented * Working knowledge of the Company’s brokerage systems * NASD Series 6 or 7 licenses highly preferred Experience Required Five to Seven Years Education Required Bachelors Degree Preferred Business Category Americas Region Job Category Financial Services Equal Employment Opportunity MetLife is proud to be an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
