The ETL Analyst will be responsible for defining scope, designing solutions, developing balancing and reconciliation plans, creating test cases, and executing testing for data conversion or integration components of large scale system implementations. The ETL Analyst will work closely with project stakeholders and subject matter experts to determine the scope of the data conversion or integration effort, will capture the business requirements, will review the technical solutions created by ETL Developers, will design balancing and reconciliation processes to validate data, will create test cases to test conversion or integration modules, and will execute the test cases and validate resulting data. The ETL Analyst will also be responsible for creating and executing data profiles to evaluate data quality, examining results, performing detailed analysis of legacy and target system data to identify issues, and in some cases executing SQL or stored procedures to correct data. As such, the ETL Analyst should be well versed in database architecture, stored procedures, and executing SQL queries. * A Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent state agency work experience * 2-3 years of relevant analyst experience or state agency experience * 2-5 years of progressively responsible related technical or application experience * Experience with data profiling, data analysis, and data cleansing * Experience in data migration projects with specific experience as an analyst on a large-scale legacy system conversion project. Ideally, experience includes Medicaid or other healthcare/claims processing applications * Experience mapping legacy data to target, identifying gaps, unmapped data, data requiring cleansing, etc. * Experience with interface design and testing, including trading partner testing * Experience troubleshooting data-related issues in a timely manner * Disciplined process skills with an eye for process improvement * Willing to travel as required to be on site with customer * Experience with MS tools * Experience interfacing with clients and technical staff * Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments * Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint) * Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment Desired Skills: * Experience with Healthcare Information Exchange implementations * Experience with Enterprise Service Bus implementations * Experience with Master Data Management implementations * Conducting requirements gathering * Facilitating Joint Application Design (JAD) or other design sessions * Writing use cases, creating process flows, and/or creating system architecture diagrams and sequence documents * Performing data profiling, data analysis, and data cleansing activities, including SQL data fixes * Translating requirements into technical design * Creating technical data mapping specifications to be used by developers * Writing test cases, creating test scenarios, or participating in testing activities for data integration processes * Revising specifications to accommodate changes *Date:* 2014-03-06 *Country:* US *State:* TN *City:* Nashville
