(USA-TX-HARLINGEN) Mortgage Loan Processor
Job Purpose: Reporting to the Processing Team Leader, this position will be responsible for a variety of functions. The successful candidate will share our companys vision of creating and maintaining an environment in which all associates are encouraged to be customer service oriented and embrace the responsibility and accountability for internal and external customers, as well as associated revenue growth. Duties: Ensure adherence to the companys established processing standards. Review and evaluate information on mortgage loan documents. Gather Commitment for Title Insurance, Appraisal, Survey, Inspections, Income Documentation, Letters of Explanation, etcetera and review for accuracy and probability of satisfying guideline requirements Reviews residential loan application file to verify that application data is complete and meets establishment standards, including type and amount of mortgage, borrower assets, liabilities, and length of employment. Examine loan documentation for accuracy and completeness while working with loan Originator to secure all required documents. Request additional information when needed, and establish terms and conditions of approved loans. Troubleshoot and resolve post closing conditions. Resolve deficiencies. Skills/Qualifications: Knowledgeable in FHA, FNMA, VA and USDA guidelines. Experience with Encompass 360 LOS a plus Experience with Desktop Underwriter, Loan Prospector or other automated underwriting systems. Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Analytical, detail-oriented and organized Ability to handle delicate situations with discretion, diplomacy and tact. Ability to exhibit great customer service
