This position will transition to Suffolk, VA after JLLIS database migration is completed. Manages Joint Training Operations and Maintenance (O&M) / Transition contract support for the Joint Staff / J7. Provides oversight of the day-to-day O&M and sustainment of the Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS) and Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS) databases. Leads planning and execution of the JLLIS database migration from Ft. Huachuca, AZ to Suffolk, VA and the JTIMS database migration from the Pentagon to Suffolk, VA. Ensures continuity of operations during JLLIS migration. Serves as JLLIS Program Management Office subject matter expert (SME) for the following areas: business analysis, business process improvement, functional training. Basic Qualifications Minimum/Specialized Experience: Ten (10) years of intensive and progressive IT experience demonstrating the required proficiency levels related to IT systems management experience. Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university which provides substantial knowledge of the information sciences or with a curriculum or major field of study which provides substantial knowledge useful in managing the work specified by the task order(s). Such degrees might be, but should not be limited to, the disciplines of computer science, information systems, physical science, engineering, or a mathematics-intensive discipline or business. Desired skills Knowledge of Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS) and/or Joint Training Information Management System. Knowledge of DoD DIACAP processes. Experience with physically migrating a database. Familiar with SQL and Cold Fusion. Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) with Secure Socket Layer (SSL). Familiarity with Oracle, Sun Java, and LINUX/UNIX a plus.
