**Swedish Medical Center is looking for a full time Research Coordinator I for Clinical Trials Research to work at First Hill in Seattle, WA.**_The Research Coordinator I independently coordinates research and administrative tasks in support of one or more research studies. Works with study investigators and supervisor to address study-related issues. Backs up other coordinators as needed. Supports department financial performance through budgeting, billing and as directed. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently and with a high level of autonomy. ** *The position will be based at our First Hill main campus located in the heart of Seattle. The campus sits at the crossroads of the bustling First Hill and Capitol Hill neighborhoods. An excellent location for commuting options - minutes away from downtown. We are located in a vibrant area which is convenient for taking advantage of Seattle's thriving local arts scene, nightlife, excellent dining, and recreation options.* _ **In this position you will:** * Develop specialized research instruments * Assist in the preparation of scientific manuscripts and presentations * Train other research coordinators in the proper conduct of research studies * Participates in quality control activities **Required qualifications for this position include:** * Bachelor's Degree. Significant experience in research coordination can be substituted for education * Previous experience in related field * Advanced knowledge of FDA research policies **Preferred qualifications for this position include:** * Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or similar professional research certification **About the First Hill Campus.** The 697-bed tertiary-care center on the Swedish/First Hill campus is the flagship of the Swedish health-care system.
