- Preparing the procurement list with the project manager at the beginning of each project and evaluating the preliminary cost breakdown/budget of all the items.
- Identification of the major items, and assigning deadlines for the long lead items
- Preparing the Procurement/Subcontract strategy with the project manager
- Preparing the potential vendor list for all the major items.
Coordinating with the project manager in order to receive the detailed Purchase Requests on time from the project team.
- Contacting suppliers, sending & following up the RFQs and Handling Negotiations
- Assisting the Procurements department of other branches when necessary
