Job description
The Agricultural Division is in development phase. The Group MD (Agriculture) will have the responsibility for further developing this division, and for driving the business from the strategy and operations perspective. He will have full accountability for the P&L of the business.
The responsibilities of this position are in particular:
• Management
• Develop the Agriculture Division
• Formulate strategy and provision of leadership
• Setting up policies and procedures to ensure that the commercial agricultural operations are according to own, governmental and environmental regulations at the best rate of profit
• Recruitment of senior positions
• Liaison with shareholder and stakeholders
• Sales & Marketing
• Direct and coordinate company sales and marketing functions
• Develop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology
• Direct and oversee the company marketing function to identify and develop new customers for products and services
• Research and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development
• Agricultural Product Development
• Plan and lead the technical development of agricultural products in experimental and commercial stages
• Liaison with large customer, wholesalers and retailers
