- Managing projects and priorities, negotiating deadlines, building and translation maintaining ongoing relationships with clients
- Understanding source message and adapting it into target language while ensuring it reads like an original text
- Providing high-quality translations mainly from English into Arabic and occasionally from Arabic into English.
- Field of focus are Business, Finance, and Consultancy fields (with emphasis on Public Sector)
- Liaising with clients to discuss any unclear points and consulting with experts in specialist areas
- Proofreading and editing final translated versions
- Providing clients with a grammatically correct, well-expressed final version of the translated text, usually as a Word-processed document, Excel or PowerPoint
- Prioritizing work to meet deadlines
- Ability to demonstrate excellent writing and analytical skills
- Reviewing translations done by other translators and freelancers
- Performing other related duties and tasks as necessary/required
- Ability and/or willingness to work with different Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools and manage Translation Memories and Glossaries
