Our client a manufacturing business in KSA is looking to hire an Associate IT Director to join their team in Jeddah.
Main Responsibilities:
IT Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of IT strategy by translating it into action plans to ensure leading IT operations towards achieving strategic objectives.
Direction of Subordinates · Manage IT function team by setting functional plans, organizing work activities, providing guidance, and monitoring performance versus plan to ensure that work activities are carried out efficiently and in a procedurally compliant manner.
Leadership and Development · Ensure that IT teams receive adequate training and development activities, in coordination with HR teams, using effective methods such as demonstrations, on-the-job training, courses, workshops, etc. to meet employees’ training needs, minimize mistakes and achieve performance targets. ·
Budget · Lead the preparation and consolidation of IT budget, and monitor team expenditures according to the allocated budget to identify and rectify areas of unsatisfactory financial performance and ensure the availability of resources to install and operate efficient IT technologies.
IT Support and Maintenance · Set and manage plans for IT support work flow schedules to manage and prioritize processes pertaining to support requests, work orders, replacement cycles, incident management, etc. to ensure effective and efficient workflow. ·
. SAP Administration · Oversee the day-to-day monitoring of SAP environment and the Transport Management System (TMS) to ensure the prompt tuning and troubleshooting of the environment as well as controlling change requests and configurations.
IT Projects · Recommend and lead the implementation of technology-based re-engineering projects and its business units through monitoring the trends and best practices in IT and communication technology to ensure drawing the best advantage from integrated technology opportunities to improve business efficiency. ·
Network and System Administration · Ensure the proper monitoring, upgrading and maintenance of network and systems performance of networks and modems to uphold the technical condition of IT network applications. Sourcing, Selecting and Managing
Communication Management · Oversee the constructive relationships with internal functions, to understand and respond to their needs, highlight opportunities and limitations of computers and information systems, and assist in develop internal IT capabilities to promote the efficient utilization of IT. ·
Safety, Quality & Environment · Ensure that the IT function team apply and monitor safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products / service and a responsible environmental attitude.
Continuous Improvement · Lead the continuous improvement of IT function practices considering ‘international best practice’, changes in international standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans.
