We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the restaurant industry, with a strong focus on customer service and team management. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant
- Ensure that all food and beverage products meet quality standards and are prepared according to recipes and guidelines
- Manage and train staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring that they are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Assist with menu planning and development, including pricing and specials
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Support the Restaurant Manager in implementing marketing and promotional strategies
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Candidate:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the restaurant industry
- Proven track record of successfully managing a team
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Experience with inventory management and cost control
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required
