A leading organisation in Dubai is hiring a UAE National Civil Engineer as part of a strategic growth hire, and eMagine Solutions has been exclusively retained to deliver the search.
This is a strong opportunity for an engineer who wants more than “site + paperwork” — you’ll be joining a team where engineering standards matter, delivery is taken seriously, and you’ll be trusted to own packages of work end-to-end with real visibility across stakeholders.
The role (what you’ll be doing)
- Manage civil engineering works across site activities, contractors, and consultants to ensure quality, safety, and programme delivery
- Review drawings, specifications, method statements, and material submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements and local standards
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (project management, HSE, procurement) to keep execution moving and risks controlled
- Monitor progress, resolve technical issues on site, and drive corrective actions when needed
- Support inspections, snagging, handover documentation, and as-built coordination
- Ensure adherence to Dubai / UAE regulations, approvals, and engineering best practice
- Contribute to reporting, cost/time impact assessments, and continuous improvement across delivery
What we’re looking for
- UAE National (with Family Book)
- Degree in Civil Engineering (or closely related discipline)
- Experience in civil works delivery in the UAE (contractor, consultant, developer, or client-side)
- Strong understanding of site execution, QA/QC, HSE, and stakeholder coordination
- Confident reading drawings, resolving technical queries, and managing contractors professionally
- Organised, accountable, and comfortable working to deadlines in a live project environment
