Job Description Work will include the design and analysis of timber, steel, concrete and masonry elements and buildings as well as report writing and general project administration. A good practical working knowledge of CSC Building Designer and ROBOT (or similar packages) is required to ensure they are able to work in our BIM project environment.
Project work will vary between small building extensions and refurbishments to large international projects of values in excess of £100M.
Candidate Specification Essential requirements:
-Near Chartered (sitting in 2014) or recently Chartered Buildings Structural Engineer.
-Enthusiastic, motivated candidate with good communication (written and verbal) underpinned by a sound technical knowledge.
-A good practical working knowledge of CSC Building Designer and ROBOT (or similar packages).
-A driven candidate who understands the need to design efficient structures that are both sustainable and mitigate the risks to safety in Construction, maintenance and demolition.
-Some flexibility to work in our London offices from time to time will be required.
