Title: Corporate Purchasing Administrator (OPRC 10) Location: GB-ENG-Leatherhead Other Locations: Corporate Purchasing Administrator (OPRC 10) Position Description Working as a buyer within the Corporate Procurement Group (CPG) you will help to fulfil the requirements of the corporate departments within KBR e.g. IT, Real Estate Services, HR, HSE etc. Reporting to the CPG Lead you will work closely with the corporate departments to ensure their requirements are met, on time and for the best price. You will negotiate favourable terms, volume discounts and some long-term contracts with suppliers for the procurement of goods and software. Under direct supervision, performs routine assignments as an entry level professional and will develops core job competencies with existing procedures by solving standard problems. Typically requires an undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree. Duties & Responsibilities - Source Suppliers - Issue Enquires/ Request for Quotations - Negotiations - Preparation and issue of purchase orders (through SAP) - Expediting suppliers - Liaising with internal corporate customers to ensure their needs are met and plan for future requirements - General problem solving – invoices, orders - Assist with purchasing requirements for Regional Offices - Complete regular Purchase Order Close-Outs”, filing and general administration work - Assist with department and regional audits Qualifications & Skills - Degree level preferable, but not essential - SAP knowledge preferred - Excellent Communication - Proficient Organisation - Pro-Active and ability to prioritize - Good command of English - Able to work in team Primary Location Leatherhead, Surrey
