Our client is seeking an experienced Supportability Engineer with maritime experience to work for them in Hertfordshire (with travel throughout UK and Europe), offering a very geneours base salary of up to £35,000 per Annum and excellent benefits package. The Applicant must be able to travel occasionally within the UK and Europe. Job Description Depending on the stage of the particular project, the Supportability Engineer will be accountable to the Senior Supportability Engineer and ILS Manager for: * Assisting in the development of the most appropriate support strategy. * Inputs to influence the product design in order to enhance in-service supportability. * Delivering specific aspects within the project's overall ILS activities. Skills and Knowledge Required; * A engineering background, with a relevant HND or degree, or previous related experience. * Analytical skills in order to assess the product supportability in developing and delivering a support solution. * Competency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. * Good verbal and written communication skills. Desired; * An understanding of the appropriate UK and international standards and guidance relating to ILS activities. * Planning and organisational abilities. * An ability to confidently liaise with all stakeholders.
