The Humber Refinery is located in North Lincolnshire and is one of the most complex within Europe. Every day the Refinery processes 221,000 barrels of crude oils and other feedstock as well as Gasoline and Diesel for transportation. The Refinery is well know for its specialist coke production and also produces propylene, benzene and other feedstock used in the manufacture of products such as detergents, toiletries and plastics of all types.
Placements
If you want work experience that really counts, consider a placement with Phillips 66. We are now looking for a Financial Analyst student to join us for a One Year Industrial Placement in 2014, working in a fast paced Finance Department that supports a large industrial organization.
If successful your time will be split between a number of possible functions and projects, each presenting their own individual challenges. You will be providing support; accounting and analysis as part of the Finance Team to the refinery on issues such as fixed assets, refinery margins and refinery costs. Another key opportunity identified is to spend some of the time being an integral part of the group[ providing financial support to our Turnaround team in preparation for and during out scheduled shutdown.
We are looking for a student who will have completed at least their 2nd year of a related degree subject, such as Business and/or Finance and are on course to achieve a minimum grade of 2:1

Required Skills/Qualifications
