Title: Sr. IT Systems Administrator

Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, the successful candidate:
· Will ideally have experience working to HMG CESG standards in an IL3 / List-X UK Government NOC.
· Will be required to pass the Metropolitan Police - Counter Terrorist Check” (NPPV2) before employment could commence. KBR will coordinate the security clearance checks as part of the candidate selection process.
· Will be expected to support the Project infrastructure and team to provide Security, Network & Server Management within a Secure Network Operations Centre (S-NOC) based in Leatherhead, Surrey.
The SNOC Team Lead duties will include, but will not be restricted to:
Head-up the S-NOC team.
Organise and participate in the operational shift rota.
Proactive / Protective Monitoring and Management of the IL3 / List X environment, across two UK Datacentres and a call centre.
Service Management.
UK Travel will be required to support the environment.
Proactive Network Management, Log Analysis, Performance and Capacity Management, and Reporting.
Flag, troubleshoot and resolve Security, LAN, WAN issues.
Ability to use diagnostic and monitoring tools as required – Splunk, Solarwinds Orion…
Maintain operational support documentation
Plan and action, moves, adds and changes to the environment in accordance to the change control policies
Interface with customer/s
Interface with vendors, 3rdparties and suppliers of services
Comply with KBR security policies and procedures
Desired Technical Qualifications:
Security: e.g. CISSP, GSEC, CEH, Checkpoint CCSA and/or CCSE
Network: Current CCNA/CCNP desired
Server: Current MCSE or VCP desired
Service Management: ITIL v3 Foundation
Voice: Cisco CUCM / IPT related experience (documented) and qualification/s.
Technical Skills:
Must have demonstrable knowledge and experience covering some of:
- Juniper SRX Gateways
- Cisco ASA / PIX Firewalls
- Checkpoint Firewalls
-Cisco Intruder Prevention Systems
