Main duties and responsibilities will include;
- Consolidation of orders
Consolidate the results of the Order Intake and commercial activity in a timely manner.
Verify the consistency of financial data concerning order intake.
Establish and maintain a monthly review showing the main results for the Region and BU/PL including follow-up of the recurrent business & large projects as part of the Sales Force Business review.
- Analysis of performance
Compare the Order Intake results vs Budget/Forecast.
Formulate strategic prioritises for Region/Country & BU/PL, explain the main reasons for successes and difficulties related to these and their expected short,/medium/long term consequences.
- Corrective action plans
Propose and/or follow-up corrective action plans
Prepare consistent and realistic estimation of future Order Intake (for the next month, rolling 3-months and end of the Year).
Monitor the accuracy of forecasts when compared to actual figures.
- Financial Data / Function Cost Management
Review, analyse monthly and quarterly costs of Sales & Support Functions in order to ensure accurate, precise and timely financial/operational information - to optimize performance.
Establish projections, make recommendations, communicate the information to the RCVP, Support Functions and Regional Heads.
- Support to the Sales Force
Participate in Regional Sales Force meetings and ensure high reliability of information in order to discuss review of performance.
- Standards & Processes
Deploy, communicate and control standards and processes, including the Sales Force performance measures, in order to provide the RCVP and Regional Management with the needed follow-up & control of the Sales & Support Functions.
- Management Cycle
Organise the management cycle (monthly closing and reporting, monthly management meetings). Together with the RCVP & Support Functions Heads, review and validate the forecasts, budgets and business plans. Define with the RCVP, elaborate and communicate the quarterly forecasts, yearly budget and the 3 Year plan.
- Reporting for Management
Co-ordinate/facilitate information flow on Order Intake towards Management.
Prepare synthetic notes on Order Intake performance for RCVP reporting /Commercial Management of ALSTOM Grid and ALSTOM Corporate.
- Marketing Support
Provide support to the Regional Marketing Function in conducting annual market assessments and gap analyses.
Qualifications
Education / Experience
University degree in Engineering or Business and Finance
Proven professional experience in sales or consulting within the industry
International experience

Market knowledge within the power transmission industry
Specific knowledge
Fluent English (written and oral)
Strong analytic & communication skills
High level of IT literacy (Excel, PowerPoint)
