Network Engineer Contract: 3 months Location: On Site in Lewiston, Maine We require an experienced Network Engineer focused on Cisco routing and switching, VoIP, security and wireless technologies. The candidate will be a Senior Network Engineer with a technical background as well as current enterprise network design and deployment experience. Specific responsibilities include: PREFERRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: -Hands-on experience with infrastructure components such as VoIP, Cisco switching and routers, WIFI and 4G technologies -Demonstrate experience with network solution planning, implementation, and maintenance -Understanding of IP packet captures using Wireshark, Sniffer, Network Physics, Infinistream, etc. -Implementation and maintenance of IPSec, SSL VPNs,Client,Client, Cisco DMVPN and other technologies for remote access solutions -Strong network skills with hands on experience using Cisco switches and routers -Working knowledge of routing protocols and their integration with security appliances -Working knowledge of TCP/IP, IPSEC, SNMP, Syslog, HTTP(S), SSH, DHCP, DNS, RDP, LDAP, ICMP, SMTP protocols are all very helpful. -Ensures compliance to standards for all systems administered -Ensures compliance with data security policies and procedures relative to all network systems ability to handle multiple voice and data projects and assignments at the same time -Create and maintain overall network designs and documents and IP schemes. -Create and maintain routing tables, ACL's, NAT translations on network devices. -Network certifications such as CCNP/CCIE/JNCIS/JNCIE (or equivalent training/experience) are preferred but not required -Monitor and resolve incidents related to networking/infrastructure systems Initiate corrective actions to resolve system and networking errors. -Provide expertise in preventing and responding to security/network related problem situations.
