Temporary Seasonal positions from 4/1/2014 to 11/1/2014 with Gillespie Farms Division of Pineland Farms on Mayall Road in New Gloucester, Maine. Duties include but are not limited to: Plant, cultivate, and harvest crops such as, but not limited to vegetables, fruits, and field crops. Use hand tools such as shovels, hoes, pruning shears, knives, and ladders. Duties may also include, but not limited to tilling soils, applying fertilizer, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning, picking, cutting, harvesting crops, and also picking rocks, sorting vegetables, participation in irrigation activities. Work is usually performed outdoors, sometimes under extremely hot or cold conditions. Work is physically demanding requiring workers to repeatedly bend, stoop, move and move up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis. 3/4 guarantee and free housing for those who are not able to return home at the end of the work day in a reasonable commuting distance. - Equal Opportunity Employer
