(USA-MI-Kalamazoo) Quality Technician- Manufacturing
Quality Technician being added to manufacturing client company to lead daily quality testing observation, follow procedure, create and update procedures, receive inspection of critical components, deal with supplier quality issues. should be familiar with ISO/TS/QS standards and CSA or CE standards are a plus. Should have the understanding of strong documentation controls and the basic requirements to be compliant with a given standard. Strong people and computer skills are needed along with leadership ability. Should be comfortable with potential advancement to Quality Manager level. Preferred experience: 5 years in a Quality Tech focused role and schooling, can be flexible depending upon experience. sheet metal background would be a plus along with electrical, mechanical and gas components background. Would report to VP of company and interact with other technicians and Engineering and production teams.
