Test Engineer- The engineer shall be a key engineering lead and member of the project team who shall be responsible for completing the following major engineering project objectives in accordance with the defined budget, schedule and scope: the completion (integration, test, verification, validation and qualification including all required documentation) of high and low power electronic/electrical control and thermal management systems including any support equipment in accordance with MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-810, RTCA/DO-160, RTCA/DO-178, RTCA/DO-254 and Quality policies, procedures and internal standards. In conjunction with these major objectives, management may at their discretion request the engineer to perform a variety of other engineering support tasks that are deemed necessary to meet the changing priorities of the electrical engineering and software engineering groups during the period. Responsible for but not limited to completing the following major tasks in accordance with project budget, schedule and scope objectives:*Support internal, preliminary and detailed electrical hardware and software design reviews*Design, development and implementation of any electrical/electronic support cables, test adapters, test equipment, test programs, etc. for complex electrical/electronic hardware and software*Design, development and implementation of test procedures for complex electrical/electronic hardware and software*Support third party test house selection and provide off-site test support for tests that cannot be performed in house*Integration, debug and test of complex electrical/electronic and software designs*Support certification, verification, validation and qualification of complex airborne electrical/electronic hardware and software to specified internal and external policies, procedures and standards at in house and third party test houses*Design, development and implementation of engineering documentation (analysis, studies, trade-offs, test reports, etc.) for complex electrical /electronic hardware and software*Support of administrative inputs including budgets, schedules, Estimate-To-Complete (ETC), etc.Specific Experience, Knowledge and SkillsThe engineer shall have the following preferred experience, knowledge and skills:*At least eight (8) years of test engineering experience with complex electrical/electronic control and thermal management systems*At least five (5) years of experience with MIL Aerospace qualification testing in accordance with military and RTCA standards*Experience with active power factor correction technology, high power boost technology, three phase motors and thermal management components (compressors, pumps, etc.)*Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Word)*Test Program Set software development using Java, Microsoft Visual C/C++, National Instruments LabView and/or LabWindows/CVI*Computer Aided Design (CAD) using Altium Designer
