(USA-MI-Marshall) Engineering Summer Co-op
Title: Engineering Summer Co-op Location: Michigan-Marshall-1507 South Kalamazoo Avenue Other Locations: * Work with Product Engineer assisting with prototype part ordering, tracking, stock disposition, work orders, inspection data, build assembly, test planning preparation, data collection, data analysis and reporting. * This position is a student level co-op position that may require the selected individuals to rotate work and school terms throughout the year. * Candidates with EE, ME background, skills, experience are preferred at this time. EE’s with ME skills will be considered. * Will work through full summer term. Work Experience Requirements * Data Consolidation and Analysis - Statistical analysis fo inspection and perfromance data for prototype builds. * Consolidate data accurately into a centralized database for easy retrival. * Prototype orders and tracking - Place orders and track dis-position. * Protoype Build, Development and Test - Work in the prototype lab assisting in the build process. * Perform testing and report results. Typical testing could include tolerance sensitivity studies, life cycle durability testing, input sensitivity testing, etc. * Teardown Analysis - Assist in teardown analysis of customer returns and durability test parts. Summarize and report.Education/Experience: * Pursuing an Engineering Degree * Excellent computer skills required * Good organizational and interpersonal skills * Good time management skills: multi-task, prioritize, and detail oriented. * Ability and initiative to perform with little supervison.
