*Description/Job Summary* Missouri Higher Education Loan Authority (“MOHELA") is currently searching for professional, confident and courteous individuals to join our Call Center Team in our brand new Columbia,MO facility to counsel student loan borrowers and parents to successfully manage and repay their student loan debt. This is done through inbound and outbound collection calls. The Call Center Agents will be making outgoing calls to delinquent borrowers in order to receive payments and counsel them on their federal student loan debt. Agents are also responsible for researching and analyzing student loan accounts in response to verbal inquiries. They recommend appropriate courses of action in order to keep student loan accounts current with MOHELA. Candidates must be able to work 11am-8pm Monday – Thursday, 8am-5pm Fridays. You must be able to work 5-10 hours of overtime beyond this schedule which does include Saturdays and/or early arrival for extended periods of time. We are giving extra consideration to candidates who possess fluent English/Spanish bilingual skills Comprehensive training (compensated at $15.00 an hour) will be approximately 7 to 8 weeks long from 8am-5pm Monday through Fridays. Hired candidates must be able to attend training every day from March 18 through May 2.
