2014-LENDIN-235-0002: Funding Specialist II Department Commercial Loan Administration City, State Springfield, MO Work Schedule Monday - Friday Shift Schedule 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Hours Per Week 40 hours Job Grade 08 Job Responsibilities Under general supervision, but following existing policies and procedures as well as all applicable banking laws and regulations, including BSA and AML, is responsible for funding all commercial loans, construction loans, and renewals. Responsible for determining the necessary follow up in order to ensure accurate disbursal of funds. Assists with any necessary follow up in order to ensure completeness of the file. Responsibilities and Duties: 1.Responsible for reviewing HUD-1 settlement statements along with disbursements and approvals to ensure accurate funding of all commercial loans. This would include but not limited to new commercial loans, construction loans, and all renewals/modifications. (50% - E) 2.Prepares file for post-closing review and assists with post-closing review of new loans, renewals, and modifications on commercial and construction loans. This includes sending documents to be recorded and processing technical exceptions. (20% - E) 3.Makes sure all documents are executed, appropriate fees collected and disbursed correctly. Ensures third party vendors are paid. Assists Accounting and Loan Servicing with FASB and General Ledger entries associated with commercial loans. (15% - E) 4.Prepares all necessary documentation for the boarding process. (5% - E) 5.Initiates commercial and construction loan wires along with second and third verification of wires in excess of $100,000 and reviews wire reports daily. (5% - E) 6.All other special projects, reports and duties as assigned. (5% - M) Minimum Education & Other Requirements Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively perform the essential functions of this position. A minimum of 1-2 years experience as a Funding Specialist I and/or significant relevant job experience is required. Must have excellent word processing and spreadsheet skills and communicate effectively both orally and written. A general understanding of accounting principles necessary. A high school equivalency is mandatory. A degree in business related fields is preferred. EOE/AA
