As aWeb Software Engineer (Developer) Lead, you design, develop, unit test, and maintain commercial enterprise software distributed worldwide, as well as lead a team of developers in meeting project objectives and deliverables. Principal Accountabilities Develops solutions that meet defined functional requirements - 40% Provides guidance, instruction, direction, leadership to the development team as a technical expert, project lead or application owner - 20% Requirements analysis, design and estimating - 20% Provide internal support for an application or project - 10% Keeping up to date on new technologies - 10% This position can be based in either the Fargo, ND, or in Hopkins, MN Cargill locations. Qualifications: Required * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field OR 5 years experience in lieu of degree * Minimum of 5 years web development experience (ASP.Net, Multi browser, rapid deployment) * Experience using Java applications * Experience using ASP.NET MVC * Experience with Backbone, Angular, Knockout, or similar, javascript mvc frameworks * Experience using HTML 5 * Multiple Browser and version support * Strong debugging skills with ASP.NET, with performance as well * Analyze requirements in order to provide a solution and an estimate with minimum direction * Analyzes situations or data to determine feasibility of design within time requirements * Familiar with standard application software design concepts, practices, and procedures * Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines * Strong problem solving skills * Ability to perform duties with nominal direction * Familiar with standard application software design concepts, practices, and procedures * Ability to travel up to 15% Preferred * Microsoft Professional certifications * Enterprise software deployment * Understanding of RESTfull services * Understanding of WebAPI * Proxy understanding * Brower testing experience * Entity framework * Web and Web Services deployment experience * Proficiency with SQL Server and/or Oracle * C# proficiency. * Windows Azure experience Job: Information Technology Cargill is an EEO/AA employer.
