Primary emphasis is process and product optimization via a robust process control management Manages and direct work of process engineers, technicians Helps develop and maintain and effective staff development program. Responsible for scrap and rework reduction Maintains principle goals of reducing lead times and product cost. Maintains strong line of communication internally and externally. Ensures standardization across business centers. Aids BCM in developing business strategies for both short and long-term. Aids in capital planning. Analyze related equipment and related tooling Analyze workflow and layout and implement changes/related work methods Manage product/time trials and related testing Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management Monitors status of projects and pursues corrective action, as required in terms of schedules, budgets, priorities, staffing, and work quality. This position will support internal and external audits. Actively supports all plant policies and safety programs. Provides leadership in total quality behavior and philosophy throughout the Business Center. Understands and actively supports Synchronous Manufacturing concepts. Understands business information systems and scheduling concepts. Develop and implement standard process engineering procedures and common standards of performance throughout HAD. Ensures that all processes are metallurgically reliable before releasing to production. Ensures that HAD stays abreast of new technologies in Process areas Basic Qualifications BS Engineering Degree Minimum of 5 years experience in Investment Casting and Super Alloy Previous supervisory experience of a technical group required. Technical depth in metallurgical and process areas required. Must have sound manufacturing knowledge Ability to solve problem. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Basic understanding of statistics & strong PC skills. Leadership & motivational skills. Ability to work and lead in a team environment. Knowledge of synchronous manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications MS Materials Science or Metallurgical Engineering
