Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center is a world renowned organization dedicated to the progressive control and cure of cancer through programs of patient care, research, and education. Performs and maintains competency in the technical and related work of the Blood Bank Laboratory: Performs pre-transfusion testing on patient/donor blood specimens and prepares blood components for transfusion per physician requests. Performs special studies with direction from senior technologists and/or Supervisory staff. Bachelor's degree (Medical Technology, Biology, or Clinical Laboratory Sciences) required, as is NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist license; ASCP certification preferred.
