Your Opportunity In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work within a tightly knit, high energy team, and expand your skills working on the Salesforce ecosystem which is a core platform for Informatica. Our ideal candidate You will need to be a highly motivated and proficient Application Developer on Salesforce platform with the ability to design, develop, implement, test, and support applications that are built on Sharepoint platform. You must demonstrate an ability to operate effectively in a quick-paced, dynamic environment & a proven ability to work independently and as a team member. Your Responsibilities You will be part of a highly skilled and motivated IT team responsible for supporting the Sales, Marketing, and Global Customer Support organizations and as a Senior SFDC developer you will be responsible for support and development for our Salesforce.com and BigMachines applications. Primary responsibilities would include: • Provide administration and development expertise, as well as assist with application support for SaaS-based apps including Salesforce.com and BigMachines o Development and support on standard Salesforce functionality including page layouts, field additions, and permissions o Advanced development and administration which would include triggers, S-controls, workflow, validation rules, etc o Code development using APEX and Force.com • Assist the CRM team in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues • Work closely with business analysts and/or key business community users regarding enhancements and bug fixes • Provide technical oversight to ensure consistent delivery of IT solutions by following development standards and the architecture framework • Assist the technical team with analyzing requirements and designing solutions that are achievable, acceptable and consistent with customer expectations and architectural principles • Work effectively in a distributed team Your Qualification • Solid understanding of Salesforce.com Architecture, Design, Development, Administration and Operational Support • Demonstrated deep technical knowledge with a minimum of 4 - 6 years’ experience working with: o Force.com developer toolkit - Apex, Visualforce, Force.com IDE, Force.com Migration Tool, Web Services/SOA & Metadata APIs o SQL, RDBMS experience. • Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively as part of a distributed team • Strong communication skills both verbal and written. • Demonstrated strong prototyping, coding and debugging skills • Four-year degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, information technology, or systems engineering Desired • Experience with Administration/Configuration or Development on BigMachines Informatica offers a competitive compensation package that includes base salary, medical, retirement and employee stock purchase (ESP) programs, flexible time off and more.
