(USA-UT-CLEARFIELD) Collections Specialist-Accnts Receivable
Petzl America is looking for a Collections Specialist to monitor and manage accounts receivable, partnering and facilitating payment arrangements to support mutually beneficial terms of payment on accounts due with our dealers and distributors.Responsibilities- Inform customers of past due balances by various means; including second, third and fourth notices, dunning letters, emails, and phone calls- Maintain accurate customer notes and collection cases- Research and process customer claims of invoice payment- Research and process charge backs, discrepancies, and returns referenced on payments- Answer accounts receivable phone inquiries and follow up- Process adjustments, debits and credits as related to collection efforts- Perform the credit hold release function, process dealer applications, and account set up Skills and Requirements- 3-5 years of work experience in accounting and-or collections, with an emphasis on commercial collections and customer service - Knowledge of general accounting principles, specifically accounts receivable - Highly professional verbal and written communication skills- Commitment to excellent customer service - Strong analytic and problem solving skills The position is full-time hourly and reports to the Credit Collections Manager. Wage is negotiable with experience, $14.00-$17.00 an hour. The position qualifies for full benefits including: health, dental and disability insurance; a generous paid time off program; holiday pay; a profit sharing plan; 401(k) benefits; and a progressive workplace geared toward employee well-being and satisfaction. This job is currently based in Clearfield, Utah, and will move to West Valley mid-2014.
