We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Quality Engineer with one of our important clients.POSITION INFORMATION:Job Title: Quality EngineerLocation: Ogden UT 84404Compensation: $20.00 to $23.00-hr DOEType: Monday to Friday | 8:00AM to 5:00PMCONTACT INFORMATION:To apply, please email your resume with "Quality Engineer" in the subject line to: cassandras@yes-slc.com JOB DUTIES-ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:• Assist Sr. Quality Engineer Manager, Data Analyst- Statistician, and Quality-Manufacturing Specialist maintenance of data analysis and quality data trending activities.• Create metric trending plans to monitor quality data sources.• Assist with the writing of technical reports such as trend investigation reports.• Assist with the evaluation of quality data sources for trending.• Assist with the evaluation of sampling plans for adequacy.• Act as liaison for quality data trending and sampling plan rationale activities between Quality Engineering and other departments in facility• Ability and knowledge of statistics and the use of spreadsheet and statistical software such as Excel, Minitab, and NCSS is preferred.• Work well with engineers and personnel from other departments and take an active role in team problem solving.• Maintain good documentation practices for all forms, protocols, reports and laboratory notebooks.• Order and maintain equipment and supplies needed to complete projects.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and Personal Protective Equipment required may include: Safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, Bunny Suit (Solutions), Blue encapsulating suit (Fiber), Respirator, Back or Wrist brace, smock, hair net, shoe booties, Face Mask. The employee must occasionally lift and-or move up to 25 pounds.The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
