Title: Operational AnalystLocation: UT - Salt Lake Service CenterZions Bancorporation is now accepting resumes for our Operational Analyst position. The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills and experience necessary to: * Be responsible to work with various business users to review,analyze,evaluate business processes,procedures,systems and make recommendations for improvements and changes * Perform and participate in the analysis,design and implementation of business processes and procedures * Be responsible for following appropriate standards and requirement gathering * Be responsible for issue and root cause analysis * Formulate proposals for new procedures and- or processes * Conduct user acceptance testing,provides input for feasibility,prepare user documentation and conduct follow-up evaluation * Act as a liaison with subsidiary management and staff to resolve issues as needed * Perform project management leadership functions as a project manager or team member * Perform other duties as assigned * Requires a Bachelor s in computer science,Information Systems,Business Administration or other related field and 4 years experience in business analysis,processes,procedures,project management,multiple technologies,frameworks,etc or other directly related experience * A combination of education and experience may meet requirements * Working knowledge of business process and procedure improvement,systems and project techniques and practices * Knowledge of department specific processes and procedures * Requires strong analytical,organizational and problem solving skills * Ability to elicit,gather and analysis user needs * Solid presentation and communication skills,both verbal and written * Ability to function in a consultative role and lead a team or project * Requires strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and staff employees * Must be able to meet deadlines * Proficient knowledge of various software programs,including word processing,spreadsheets,etc.
