Human Resources ManagerVirginia Panel Corporation, located in Waynesboro, Virginia is looking for a Human Resources Manager to guide and manage the administration of human resources policies, procedures and programs.General Requirements:4 year degree or equivalent experience/education in Human Resources.2-5 years of experience of HR generalist experience in the areas of recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, training and development, and employee relations activities.Previous experience in a manufacturing environment with 150-250 employees preferred.Strong communication skills, both written and oral.Position Responsibilities:Recruitment and Hiring ProcessDevelop and place job advertisementsWork with hiring manager to determine screening criteria and screen applicantsInterview candidates by phone and on-siteOversee the final selection and on-boarding processBenefits and Compensation ProcessesOversee benefits renewal and open enrollment each yearServe as Plan Administrator / main point of contact on benefit plansResearch compensation trends/markets and compile reportsWork with management on annual budgets for wage increasesTraining and DevelopmentResearch training opportunities; develop training schedules for new employeesDevelop and present on-site training programsEmployee Relations and Other DutiesAssist supervisors with disciplinary issues, FMLA issues, and other personnel issuesOversee the coordination of company-wide eventsDevelop, update, and interpret company policiesManage VPCand#39;s compliance with HR laws such as FMLA, FLSA, AAP/EEO, COBRA, ERISA, HIPPA, etc.Facilitate/Lead the VPC Safety ProgramVirginia Panel Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
