Job Purpose:
The job holder is responsible for the design & delivery of variety of training courses and / or other interventions of employees from different business unit such as Emaar Malls Group, Emaar Retail and Emaar Burj Khalifa.
The job involves creating proactive and responsive solutions to business needs and seizing opportunities for continuous improvement in individual, team, business unit and organisational performance
Key Accountabilities:
• Participates in identifying training and development needs through job analysis, appraisals and regular consultation with Business Manager & HR
• Designs and develops training and development including hand-outs, manuals and activities programs based on both the organisation’s and individual needs
• Works proactively with the training team to produce programs (including induction programs) that are satisfactory to all relevant parties
• Monitors and reviews the progress of trainees through questionnaires, training effectiveness forms on job observations
• Assesses the training effectiveness and observes the staff performance as a part of TNA and content gathering
• Evaluates the effectiveness of training programs and learning outcomes
• Amends program as necessary in order to adapt changes that occur in the work environment
• Prepares learning environment and resources including setting up IT equipment where appropriate
• Delivers training program in both formal (. classroom) or informal (. on the job, practical) setting
• Maintains appropriate records of learners attendance and development including development in the learning process, feedback from the test or activities or behavioural observation during the training
• Coordinates with the training administrator to ensure proper record keeping
• Ensures that the part of planned program are within the training budgets
• Assesses the return on any investment of any training and development program
• Keeps upto date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, going to meetings and attending relevant courses
• Assists the Training Manager with special projects and new initiatives as required
• Prioritizes and plan task well and completes the tasks in deadline
