(USA-CO-Denver) Engineer I - Sustaining Engineering
**Summary:** EchoStar is looking for an entry level Engineer to support development products (design inception to market release) and maintenance on ‘in production’ products (market to obsolete). **Responsibilities:** * Maintain and update design of products from market introduction until obsolescence. * Job tasks include: maintaining product configuration requirements, design characterization, determining design change qualification requirements, and electrical component qualification, as well as product failure analysis. * Primary focus of position is on digital set top boxes and accessories for the Dish Network and similar services. **Basic Requirements:** * BSEE or BS Computer Engineering * 0-2 years experience in electrical engineering related work **Preferred Qualifications:** * 2 years experience reading and understanding technical documentation, including schematics and block diagrams. * Strong written and oral communication skills * Proficiency with Microsoft Office application such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. * Working knowledge of common electrical test equipment such as Digital Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeters, Spectrum Analyzers, Logic Analyzers, and Digital Multi-meters. **About EchoStar:** EchoStar delivers innovative products and services that power global communication, commerce and entertainment.
