Req ID 284503BR Industry Job Title O Division 5/5 Linguist, JIOC Job Code/Title E2484:Intelligence Analyst Stf Job Description The applicant shall perform linguist interpreter and translation duties for intelligence affiliations and exchanges with coalition members within the CENTCOM AOR. Applicant shall demonstrate proficiency in the target languages (Arabic, Pashtu, Farsi, et. al.) by achieving a minimum Level 4/4 comprehension proficiency according to the Interagency Language Roundtable (IRL) scale as measured by the Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT). Arabic native speaker Level 5/5 comprehension rating is required for military flag officer translation support. Typical products and activities include but are not limited to: translation support for executive level (general officer) meetings/foreign leaders; intelligence exchange activities with foreign Governments; preparation of document translation summaries; debriefing reports; document reviews; provide recommendations and/or other services regarding Middle Eastern customs, courtesies and religions; translate collected information to and from the target language; provide briefings and other written reports/documents as required. Applicants must be willing and able to deploy to the CENTCOM AOR if called upon to do so, including receive all appropriate vaccines required for the AOR. Place of performance is Tampa Florida, or other CONUS and OCONUS locations within the USCENTCOM AOR. Basic Qualifications Bachelor or master s degree with 8+ years of intelligence analysis experience, or Specialized training & 10+ years intelligence analysis experience. Credentialed subject matter expert or recognized specialist in relevant field Desired skills Experience providing language translation services for USCENTCOM General Officers and intelligence officials Subject Matter Expert level understanding of cultures and customs throughoutout the USCENTCOM AOR.
