Humana is seeking a Technology Applications Enterprise Architect who will: provide analytical and systems expertise in a broad range of disciplines to support the development, installation and maintenance of computer solutions across the enterprise for business needs. * Provide expert technical advice and counsel to management * Lead the development and application of technical expertise in one or more IT disciplines, increasing * Humana’s ability to leverage its technical infrastructure * Define and ensure adherence to technical standards and strategies * Partner with development, business and technical service associates and management to provide direction and strategy on complex issues **Key Competencies** * **_Accountability:_**** **Meets established expectations and takes responsibility for achieving results; encourages others to do the same. * **_Customer Focus:_**** **Connects meaningfully with customers to build emotional engagement and customer advocacy. Simplifies complexity and integrates internal efforts to deliver an optimal customer experience. * **_Interpersonal Effectiveness_**: Understands oneself, effectively manages emotions, listens and communicates with respect, and builds trusting relationships. * **_Leads Change: _**Guides and energizes others, models adaptability, and inspires strong organizational performance through periods of transformation, ambiguity, and complexity. ## Qualifications **Role Essentials** * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience * Progressive experience as a senior developer in large IT projects * Prior project architect and/or team lead experience * Comprehensive knowledge of .NET specifications, framework and design patterns, C#, ASP.NET, Java, and WCF * Experience in SQL database * Knowledge of relational databases, legacy systems integration, mainframes and design patterns * Practical experience with XML-based technologies and web services including SOAP, UDDI and MSXML **Role Desirables** * Working knowledge in SSIS, SSRS * **Reporting Relationships** You will report to a Technology Director.
