Job Location Bridgewater, NJ Job Description **_Summary of Responsibilities: _** This position will oversee high priority projects which require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration. Develops and implements a consistently deployed approach to multi-disciplinary project management. Ensures alignment of business unit strategies through the prioritization, and implementation of projects that meet strategic, tactical, market, and customer demands. **_Position Requirments:_** * Takes projects from original conception through implementation. * Creates, reviews and provides feedback on Business Requirements, Functional requirements and Use Cases. * Follows approved project lifecycle and project management methodology, ensuring that all required steps are followed, all required deliverables are produced and all approvals are obtained. * Identifies and resolves project interdependencies, resource constraints and integration concerns * Provides updates to leadership regarding project status and implementation of technology and internal/external communication. * Maintains Sharepoint sites for assigned project, and ensures accurate documentation is completed and posted throughout the project lifecycle. * Assists in the development of business and strategic plans for Group Life Products * Accountable for directing work effort of staff assigned to project or program. * Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project planning, tracking and analysis of issues and risks * 5+ years of relevant business experience in the financial services industry or in insurance operations. **_Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Required:_** * Strong analytical, organizational/planning and problem solving skills required. * Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, Access, Project, and Powerpoint required * Planning and/or project management experience required. * Expert knowledge of Project Management methodology and project life cycle required. * Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and many business partners throughout the organization is extremely important. * Thorough, conscientious and detail oriented. * Ability to function effectively within a matrix environment. * Knowledge of business operations, planning, and budgeting. * Knowledge of employee benefits, preferred. **Preferred Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field required. * Progress towards MBA and/or PMP certification preferred.
